ABOUT US
Where heritage meets regality!
Thirukanchi Silks is a celebration of heritage, devotion, and timeless artistry. Each handpicked Kanchipuram saree is woven with care, where every thread tells a story of divine grace and enduring elegance. Inspired by the royal attire of Travancore, our creations bring together the grandeur of Tamil silk craftsmanship and the sophistication of the modern world. Our name carries a sacred legacy: “Thiru” represents Lord Murugan and Thiruvananthapuram, while “Kanchi” honors Kanchipuram, the birthplace of our exquisite silk traditions. Every drape whispers tales of temples and palaces, of golden zari borders that once adorned queens, and of silk that glows with a sacred luster. Our mission is heartfelt: to introduce pure Kanchipuram silks into the modern world, preserving the grandeur of traditional sarees while sharing the beauty, devotion, and craftsmanship with discerning customers. At Thirukanchi Silks, we don’t merely offer sarees — we share a legacy, woven with trust, devotion, and timeless elegance for every wearer who cherishes tradition.

At THIRUKANCHI, we believe every saree deserves your complete confidence. Our FAQ section is crafted to answer your questions about authenticity, weaving, care, and certification — ensuring you know the story behind every pure Kanchipuram drape.
We guarantee the authenticity of every saree. Our silks come directly from the master weavers of Kanchipuram. They feature the distinctive interlock weave, which is Kanchipuram’s hallmark, and the rich quality that defines true GI-tagged Kanchipuram silk.
We mainly deal in Pure Zari silk sarees. The metallic thread is made of silver and dipped in gold. We also offer select collections with high-quality, authentic silk-fast Zari.
Always recommend dry cleaning for the first few washes. Store your saree folded in a cotton or muslin cloth to let the silk breathe. Refold it periodically to avoid creasing the zari.
Yes,We have a physical store in Trivandrum, and especially for our clients who trust the Thiru service, you can also book a virtual appointment to view the saree.
We take care to ensure the photos show the right color. However, the natural shine of pure silk and varying screen settings can cause slight shade differences. We provide multiple images and videos to give a true representation.
